Rock Creek Calls derives from a small town in Western Pennsylvania. The owner, Chris Leone spent his youth in that area hunting, fishing and studying the sounds of the wild game he chased, in particular Eastern Wild Turkeys. From there, he learned how to imitate that sound and started his journey in the calling contest circuit. As he was going through, he realized that some of the production calls from the bigger brands just didn’t seem to sound right coming from him so he invested in some equipment and started making his own calls. He quickly realized that the game call arena is not a one size fits all game, and Rock Creek Calls was started.
Our mission is to provide a high quality, great sounding call that fits the folks that don’t like the mass produced call sounds. Our calls are stretched slightly differently allowing for a unique sound that has proven over the years to be effective and preferred by the wild game we chase.
